Our Vancouver Base tour suits Fanatics tourists that want a longer stay in a city to fully immerse themselves in the World Cup. You will be living in an apartment in Vancouver & have access to some great games in the city as well as in the other cities where we travel to: Seattle & San Francisco.

This tour has been popular early, obviously the unbeatable price is one part & the opportunity to see 6 games over your 14 night stay has strong pull.

Vancouver is a great city & this is a fantastic and economical way to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup. You will be based in Vancouver for 10 nights where you can take in the first Socceroo match, before taking our return coach to Seattle to watch the second Socceroos match before returning to Vancouver for the Canada game & finally travelling to the San Francisco Bay area for 4 nights & the third Socceroos game. In the San Fran Bay area we will be staying in 3-star twin share hotel rooms in San Jose, within walking distance of Levi Stadium.

Vancouver Base + San Fran Bay Tour

Based in beautiful Vancouver for the first 10 nights of the tour, we have booked 5 x apartments for the first stage of the Socceroos journey. While short stay accommodation has been expensive to book in Vancouver, we have used these apartments on another tour we ran to Canada and we tentatively pre-booked these pre-Draw for a bulk stay. This provides us with an economical option & each apartment has a kitchen which allows you to cut costs along the way.

You will stay in 6-bedroom apartments which include a living area, kitchen, six single bedrooms & a communal bathroom. Apartments have basic cable & are all located in the same area so we will have a Fanatics host there who will organise the social side to bring all tourists together. We will head to locals bars to watch games & provide optional group sightseeing day tours closer to the event.


This is not a tour for couples as there will be male apartments & female apartments. Unless of course you book the whole apartment for 6 places & then you can have whoever you like in there. Maximum 6 travellers per apartment. If you book less than 6 people in an apartment we will match you up with other like-minded travellers.

Tour Hosts - Bosnich, Mooy, Lazaridis & Peacock

In 2026 we are proud to announce a massive line-up of Socceroos legends including Mark Bosnich, Aaron Mooy & Stan Lazaridis. Joining the boys will be football nut & respected journalist Adam Peacock. The guys will be travelling with Fanatics for the full duration of the Follow Australia Group Stage tour but Vancouver Base tourists will have an opportunity to hear their insights at the opening party & the pre-match functions before each Socceroo game.

Legendary keeper Mark Bosnich played in England with Aston Villa, Manchester United & Chelsea and represented Australia between 1993 & 2000. Never afraid to speak his mind Boz thrilled us in Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018 and we're very excited to have him back with us in 2026!

Aaron Mooy represented the Socceroos at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups and played his final match for Australia in the round of 16 play-off against Argentina. With an incredible paying career for the Socceroos along with his A-League, and international club experience in England and Scotland, Aaron will be on hand to provide insights into the current Socceroos set-up and our key opponents.

Star of the West, Stan Lazaridis made 60 appearances for the Socceroos between 1993 & 2006 while playing in England with West Ham United and Birmingham City. Like Boz, Stan was on tour with us in Brazil 2014 & Russia 2018 and also joined us in Qatar 2022 and is always a legendary touring partner!

Adam Peacock spent nearly a decade at the Seven Network and 15 years at Fox Sports. He now presents the Premier League for Stan Sport. Adam joined us in Russia 2018 and will provide the perfect foil for some colourful pre-match analyses from the guys!

Host Cities

Vancouver is a beautiful, bustling west coast port city featuring an ethnically diverse population. The city is surrounded by stunning mountains, and has thriving art, theatre and music scenes.

This is a football town and Vancouver staged nine matches during the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup including the final where USA defeated Japan to win their third title. The city is home to MLS team Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Seattle in the Pacific Northwest, is surrounded by water, mountains and evergreen forests. The city is home to a large tech industry, with Microsoft and Amazon headquartered here. You will be amazed at some of the tech you find in stores and places around the city - it is an eye opener.

With some of the most ardent and passionate fans in Major League Soccer (MLS), Seattle Sounders are a thriving club. This is where Australia take on the US & the city will be jumping for what will be a highlight of the tour. We love this city and we know you will too.

San Francisco is the commercial, financial, and cultural centre of Northern California. The San Francisco Bay Area is home to 9 million residents. Local highlights include iconic landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, historic Alcatraz Island, and the bustling Fisherman's Wharf, plus classic cable cars, the unique twists of Lombard Street, and diverse neighbourhoods including its world famous Chinatown.

Match Tickets

As with past tournaments, match tickets need to be applied for directly with FIFA, be sure to register your details with FIFA to receive information as it is announced.

Most match tickets are to be allocated in the next ticket ballot open for applications until 13 January. In the lead up to the tournament additional tickets will be on sale on a first-come-first-served basis and, as in 2022, FIFA will also operate a resale platform for match tickets.

Thanks to the large host stadiums for the tournament tickets for most group-stage matches shouldn’t be a problem so we can look ahead to supporting the Socceroos in the USA, Mexico & Canada with confidence!

For those who have travelled to previous World Cups with Fanatics, you will already understand the ticketing purchase process and be comfortable in the understanding that the vast majority of football fans heading will be purchasing their tickets via the January sales phase after the match schedule is released.

In the unlikely event that you were unsuccessful in securing tickets we will put you in touch with other Fanatics who ended up purchasing more tickets than they actually need. Names can easily be changed on match tickets to allow another person to become the holder of their ticket/s.

Match Ticket Guarantee

As with a guarantee that we started in 2014 at the FIFA World Cup Brazil we will be guaranteeing all Fanatics customers will receive tickets in the ballot or the ticket resale platform, they can cancel their tour for a full refund. See booking conditions for details and timings.

Tour Payments

A deposit of $1,000 per person is required at the time of booking. A second instalment of $2,000 per person is due by 16 January 2026 and a third instalment of $2,000 per person is due by 20 February 2026. The final balance will be due by 27 March 2026.
