Edinburgh Backpackers Hostel is situated in the heart of the city centre on Edinburgh’s funkiest street, located just 200 yards from Waverley Rail station and Airlink Bus Stop with an abundance of shops, cafés, pubs and clubs on the doorstep.

Set in a 19th century building in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Old Town, the hostel is located 50 metres from the Royal Mile, the ancient thoroughfare and main pulse of this cosmopolitan city. With the train station and airport shuttle bus being less than two minutes away we are conveniently located for transport, making Edinburgh Backpackers Hostel easy to find, but difficult to leave.

During the day you can explore the world-renowned Castle, Holyrood Palace, Cathedral and Princes Street area, all a short stroll from the hostel. Then when the sun goes down all the main pubs and restaurants are right there for your enjoyment.

The hostel has a self-catering kitchen, poolroom and a chill out lounge area with internet and Sky TV. If you don't feel like cooking there is a café/bar attached to the hostel, the Southern Cross Café, where guests receive a 15% discount off their food bill.
