Cousins returns for Eagles' Hall of Fame
Former AFL star Ben Cousins has made his return to West Coast for the first time since he was dumped in 2007, attending the club's inaugural Hall of Fame awards night on Friday.
Cousins, a former captain at the club who was axed at the end of 2007 as his drug addiction spiralled out of control, joined a host of past and present Eagles stars at Burswood as the club celebrated its 25 years in the competition.
West Coast legends John Worsfold, Peter Matera and Dean Kemp are among numerous past greats in line to earn induction.
But Cousins, who notched 238 games for the Eagles before finishing his career at Richmond, is ineligible, with players needing to be retired for at least two years to be in the running.
