South Africa, Ireland coach win awards
South Africa has been named the International Rugby Board's team of the year and Ireland's Declan Kidney coach of the year.
The IRB made the presentations at Croke Park after Ireland's 15-10 win over the Springboks on Saturday.
World Cup holders South Africa won the southern hemisphere Tri-Nations title for the first time in five years this season, while Ireland completed 2009 unbeaten after winning the Six Nations with their first grand slam since 1948.
"My role is overstated," Kidney said. "I haven't made a tackle all year."
