Eels to weigh up training due to dust
Parramatta coach Daniel Anderson will make a call later on Wednesday as to whether his players will train in Sydney's massive dust-storm.
The Eels are due on the training paddock around 5pm and Anderson will make a decision on whether the session will go ahead amidst warnings for Sydneysiders to stay indoors.
No change has yet been considered to Parramatta's schedule.
"Everyone will be monitored pretty closely, no one will be put at risk," an Eels spokesman said.
Parramatta play the Bulldogs on Friday night in an NRL preliminary final, with the winner to proceed to the October 3 grand final.
Bulldogs players have the day off on Wednesday.
Officials from both clubs said neither squad included players with asthma or known respiratory problems.
Meanwhile, injured Eels five-eighth Daniel Mortimer (hip) is expected to have a light run on Wednesday but will not train with the team if Parramatta's session goes ahead.
