Sandow re-signs with Souths until 2011
Last season's Dally M rookie of the year Chris Sandow on Tuesday re-signed with South Sydney until the end of the 2011 NRL season.
The exciting halfback joins Kiwi Test hooker Issac Luke and centre Beau Champion as young rising stars to extend their contracts at the Rabbitohs until 2011.
Sandow, 20, burst onto the NRL scene with a starring performance on debut in round 13 last year against the Warriors.
He booted the winning field goal against the Warriors and sparked a turnaround for Souths as they fought back to avoid the wooden spoon.
"Chris is undoubtedly one of the rising stars in the game and we are delighted to have him commit to the club until the end of 2011," said Souths chief executive Shane Richardson.
"Chris has shown he has what it takes to make it in the NRL and we are pleased that he will be wearing the red and green for at least the next three seasons."
Sandow said he was pleased to secure his future at the Redfern club for another three years.
"I love playing here at the Rabbitohs and I had no hesitation in re-signing with the club," said Sandow.
"I think we have a solid team here this year and we'll be giving our best each week to win for all of our members and supporters.
"I look forward to running out in the red and green for many seasons to come."
