Ronaldo joins AC Milan
Brazilian striker Ronaldo has joined AC Milan from Real Madrid.
The clubs agreed to a $A12.6 million deal for the 30-year-old striker at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the website of Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sports reported.
Milan striker Ricardo Oliveira will move to Madrid on loan as part of the deal, Gazzetta said.
Ronaldo agreed to personal terms with Milan and on Friday passed a medical test in the Italian city, where he spent five years with Inter Milan.
Ronaldo, who hasn't been picked for Madrid since a January 7 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna, has said his difficulties with coach Fabio Capello have forced him to look elsewhere.
The striker joined Madrid in 2002, winning the Spanish league at the end of his first season, but no major trophies since.
He came close to joining Milan last August but the clubs failed to reach an agreement.
