Gerrard out of tour
Australian back Mark Gerrard is to return home early from the Wallabies' European tour because of a hamstring injury.
Gerrard strained his left hamstring at training on Wednesday, the same injury which cost him his first Test cap three days before Australia played England in Brisbane in June.
The ACT winger will fly to Sydney and a replacement will come from the Australia A team which plays the French Barbarians in Paris on November 16.
Morgan Turinui, Nathan Grey and Cameron Shepherd are the logical options from the Australia A squad.
Coach Eddie Jones said Gerrard will have spinal scans after team medical staff said they believed his hamstring problem could be back related.
